ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

You can use this flour for making the mini pancake cereal, but if you don’t have this, then you can also wheat flour as an alternate to this problem.

But I would recommend you to not use almond milk or almond meal, because it spreads too much and burn really quickly which will cause you trouble.

VEGETABLE OIL

If you have vegetable oil, it’s completely fine, but using canola oil is not a good idea to use, as it will make your pancake cereal less cripsy.

As a substitute you can use, grapeseed oil or peanut oil which will work best for your recipe.

WHOLE MILK

If you are simple milk, it’s good or you can also use skim, low-fat or non- fat milk, but it will lead to less baked stuff.

Instead you can use coconut milk, soy milk, oat milk or even butter milk which also gives you good results.

EGGS

Some of you might be allergic to eggs or are shifting to vegan style, or doesn’t like eggs. Then you can use fruits that contain pectin which will help in binding- you can use canned pumpkin, mashed bananas, applesauce, or jams.

STEPS TO MAKE PANCAKE CEREALS

STEP 1

Simply take a bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar, and then whisk them together.

Add the whisked egg and buttermilk to the bowl, and then gently combine all the ingredients with a fork or spoon, carefully, keeping in mind that lumps should not be formed.

STEP 2

Pour the pancake batter into a squeeze bottle or a piping bag with one one corner having a tiny cut.

You can even use a teaspoon to scoop it out if you don’t have a bottle or piping bag.

Now heat up a non-stick pan over a medium flame.

Brush it with a thin layer of oil on your pan.

Squeeze out mini pancakes and cook until the pancakes start to bubble.

When you flip them, make sure they should be golden brown.
